Where are you based?
We are based in Whangarei
How much meat do I get?
1/4 Beast = Approximately 70 -75kg
yielding = about 45.5 – 48.5 kg cuts. You will need about 120 – 150litre of freezer space.
1/2 Beast: Approximately 140 – 150kg yielding = about 91 – 97.5 kg cuts. You will need about 250 – 300 litre of freezer space.
Whole Beast: Approximately 280 – 300kg yielding about 182 – 195 kg cuts.
What is the process?
1.Contact us to secure your order
2. We’ll notify you once a processing date is confirmed
3. Collect your meat from our local butcher
4. You’ll be invoiced by us based on the cow’s weight, and pay the butcher fee separately to the butcher
How do I collect the meat?
We’ll notify you when your order is ready for collection from De Bauchery, 169 Kiripaka Road, Tikipunga, Whangārei 0112.
How much does it cost?
The cost is based on the weight of the cow at the time of processing and cows can vary between each other. See price ranges here.
Do you deliver?
No we do not deliver. It is pick up only from our local butcher.
What is a cut sheet?
This is the sheet that you fill out when you place an order and this is supplied to the butcher to inform them of how you would like your beef processed. This will be supplied via email.
